Aches and pains are a standard part of the Pregnancy to Post-Natal life phase and indeed the life of any woman and many women simply ‘put up’ with muscular aches and pains when there are simple, time effective, self-care solutions available to everyone. ‘Release’ is an essential part of any woman’s self-care toolbox. Simple ways to ‘release’ muscular tension that draw on self-massage, myofascial movement, Yoga and Pilates traditions. This workshop also involves simple meditation strategies and ESSENTIAL Pelvic Floor and nervous system down-training which, we all know, is just as important as ‘doing the work’ and to really delve into our self care, the course will include a 10-15 minute guided meditation.. Consider this: most office workers spend at least 8 hours a day sitting down. This creates many muscular imbalances and compensation patterns which accumulate over time resulting in postural dysfunction. A daily strategy is required so that our bodies become more resilient to the demands of modern, living.
In this course you will release connective tissue from head to toe! You will learn tools and techniques you can do yourself on a daily basis. We will use massage balls, bands, foam rollers and mobilisation strategies to help release the tight muscles and fascia to improve all round mobility and functionality. I will go through some of the common postural dysfunction and muscular imbalances and help you walk away feeling relaxed, looser, taller and definitely calmer.
